So confused! Please help....

Hello,
I recently found out I was pregnant and a few days later I started bleeding with very little pain.I went to the docs who said that it was probably a miscarriage and they would check my hcg levels.Had my 1st blood test today and the 2nd is monday-the wait is tearing me up.The doc also said if I did another preg test now the chances are it will show as negative-i've done another test and it's positive - i'm really confused
Up until today I felt pregnant but today my symptons have started subsiding.Do you think this means a definate miscarriage or am I just having a good day?I really want to believe that I'm just one of these people that bleeds during pregnancy with no bad effects on the baby....

So sorry there's nothing to help comfort us while we wait for news. I'm also waiting to do a 3rd blood test on Monday. I'm supposed to be miscarrying but my levels actually went UP on Friday, but everything physical points to a m/c, so I'm also very confused. The doc said levels would go up before it goes down though. Sorry not much help, but symptoms are never definite answers. You'll have to wait until Monday, or Tuesday for the results. In the mean while, try to keep your mind occupied on something else. It's hard, but the game SPORE is really helping me keep busy.

I'm feeling a bit better about things today - in a weird way it helps me to know others are going through what I am although I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy if I had the power!

Good luck for Monday - I will keep my fingers crossed for us both!I should get my results the same day so here's hoping.

I think I'm going to have myself a shopping spree this weekend too Fingers crossed for you! I know mine will happen, just a matter of when, and if I need medical intervention. *sigh* But hoping for the best!

Just checking to see how you're doing?

I had my appointment just now and I'm even more confused. My levels went up yesterday, but only from 8000 (a week ago) to 9000, so my doctor thought I had an ectopic pregnancy and rushed me to ultrasound. It looked like that wasn't the case though, and my sac is still measuring only 5weeks (I'm supposed to be at 8w) although this time they saw a yolk sac, which they didn't see last time. But I took beta again today and the levels dropped to 8600. The doctor is advising me to take another beta in a week to see what's going on. But the ultrasound tech said that physically, it all is still pointing to a miscarriage. (cervix look like it's opening, the walls of the sac is detaching from my uterus, etc etc).

So confusing.

aww Im sorry girls I had the same thing last year ended in a D&C and it was awful. I hope everything works out for the best

Well I guess everything is going as it should. I'm currently miscarrying. That could not be more on cue.

I've still not got my results from the docs - they were due monday. I just want to know that eveything is ok after my mc - they're useless!

I'm so sorry you are having such a rough time of it - you must be all over the place - BIG for you. It sucks, I know
