FOB is having River one day a week and coming over to see Willow the other. When he has River does he buy his own nappies or do i send her wtith them?

What does everyone do about christmas? Go half or he just buys his own stuff? Where do you keep it yours or his (well his parents)? He wont be having River christmas day (or eve/boxing day hes working) but hes coming over here. I was thinking he get her what ever and leave it at mine and River chooses a couple of things to go over when he picks her up?

I dont think it would be fair to keep stuff at his like that as what about Willow, she cant go anywhere and wont be for a while.

Ok here is what my set up is:

If the girls were in nappies I would of got them to buy their own, makes sense really. The girls have their pyjamas and knickers and bits at his mums and I provide them with a change of clothes for each day he has them.

As for Christmas he buys his own gifts, I've told him what they need and given him a list of things to match the kitchen I have bought the girls and he is going to buy them stuff off the list. He has them Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning (Christmas weekend) and drops them back to me at midday when we will go to my mums. He will open all his gifts with them and bring them when he drops them off to me.

Its a slightly different situation because my girls are the same age and FOB has them both at the same time but remember Willow is only a baby still so when she is River's age then the same will happen with her.

As long as your consistent with the routine you shouldnt need to worry, they will soon settle into their routine.

If he's not having her over night then I would just pack up a changing bag with everything she needs for the day and send them off with that. Thats kind of what we do, although he just pops in and grabs the stuff he thinks he'll need for the day.

Maizies dad buys his own xmas presents, i tell him what so she doesn't get double, i have told him she can leave them at his so she has something to play with and saves taking loads when she visits, even though she will bring most home no doubt...

Maizie only goes for the day so clothes etc, isn't a problem, but if she went for the night i would pack knickers, pjs, clothes... cos he is useless!

xx

I always left FOB to his own devices. He has her one day a week and supplies her with everything, nappies when she used to use them, food etc. At christmas he buys his own things for her and I buy mine and he keeps the things he's bought at his and vice versa

FOB has maisie every saturday night from 4pm sat till 4.30pm sunday. I told him he gets everything she needs! Noway am i sending nappies or things down for her, he should buy them imo lol.

I send a set of clean clothes for the next day but thats it
