So last night CD 23 I got a strong positive opk after many strong negatives this morning I had pulling and slight cramping on my right side but tonight around 8 pm I'm having a throbbing feeling in both ovaries that I have never had before. Little back story I did skip ovulation last month due to my work schedule. Let me know what you think.

I tend to cramp a little around ovulation but normally it is only on one side.

I know I ovulated tho cuz I have creamy CD today.

I've had both sides have pain. I think I am just now noticing because I was on the pill for so long.

If your sleep pattern is messed up can it cause implantation to not happen? I know it can make you skip ovulation (happened to me last month) but can it mess up implantation?

I'm not sure about that. I tend to sleep too much (is there such a thing??), so I haven't experienced that. I know you should try to keep stress to a minimum, so I imagine sleep could also impact it. Especially if you're tired from not sleeping!

Oh I would love to sleep too much!! Haha Yes not getting enough sleep can mess up your hormones. Your body produces and maintains hormones while your sleeping.

i have pcos with 35-55 days cycles, and always get side-crampings + very bad ibs for a couple of days around o time. Anyone in the same situation? I am quite worried this could be endo... I hope this ibs is simply due to hormonal change during o...

Joy, I get the side cramping with IBS symptoms right around AF. I have PCOS, as well. My understanding is that with the PCOS, all bets are off when it comes to "normal" cycles and sensations. I get pretty severe pain in my whole pelvic region, but have had lots of testing and nothing besides pain to indicate potential endo, so who knows.
And OP, I tend to get both sides hurting. I think sometimes both ovaries can release an egg, so both sides would hurt. If it happens often, I would def check in with the doctor about it.
