So paranoid and scared

I'm afraid to get attached to this baby, I'm actually scared to call him/her a baby. It doesn't feel real to be pregnant. I'm terrified to even call and make an appointment, because I'm scared I will go there and find I've had another missed miscarriage. Sorry ladies, I'm sure that this is the mentality of almost everyone else here, but I'm just so scared to get excited. I mean, deep down, I am so so thrilled, but if something goes wrong again, I just don't know what I'll do.

And thinking something is going to go wrong is making me think I'm dooming myself... Ahhhh!

I want to say congrats on getting your rainbow BFP, and I am sorry you are feeling this way.

I am sure all of us get it! It is scary because we do know the bad things that can happen.

My personal way of coping is to focus on the little things, look forward to appointments (especially ones I didn't make it to last time), kind of feel ok when I feel tired because it means something is happening and enjoy my milestones on my ticker Yesterday I got to the same stage that I did before my doctor told me my numbers were low last time and I would probably MC, so I'm happy to get past that too. It is a tiny little thing at the moment, so enjoy the tiny little victories.

I also think that if this one doesn't work out for me, I'm going to be sad anyway, so I'm enjoying being very cautiously pregnant while I can rather than spending my time expecting the worst.
