So Proud of my OH!

Haha this is going to sound very sad to a lot of you! My OH, in the last 2 years or so, has grown up a hell of a lot. (Since I announced I was pregnant). He turned 23 yesterday. He's trying to sort himself out now - Uni student on the way to a brilliant degree, full time Daddy which is rare! I must say he's been so amazing since my LO arrived. He panicked during our emergency induction and has been the protector since.

Well today, He cooked a dish for the first time! And was so proud of himself haha. His mother never taught him to cook, which means he throws things in the oven for himself If I'm not in. This is partly my fault, I love to cook.. And end up cooking for the three of us. So today my OH wanted to cook, and made a curry. It was delicious! Chicken was cooked to perfection, even the Naan bread was lovely! He even made his own garlic butter, bless him!

He had such a sense of pride afterwards, I think I'll be seeing him in the kitchen more often haha :D x

You have cause to be proud... We don't discuss my DHs kitchen skills.

Aww well done him :D I love cooking, I'm the chef of our house haha

Haha. We were in Asda, grabbing some bits for LO. He turned round and said 'I won't say this often.. But I want to try to cook something' Haha. I think he's more worried about looking a fool, so he'd rather cook just for himself iykwim? Bless him, maybe it's given him an ego boost to try something out more often! It would be nice to have him able to cook as my career will be very demanding after Uni so it'd be nice for him to be able to prepare LO's dinners. x

Aww that's so sweet, he sounds like a catch, and you're so sweet to be proud of him :).

Yeah he's a sweetie. I've actually sweet-talked him into coming to the midnight screening of Twilight next week, in another county.. as ours was fully booked... In premiere seating (£30) Lmao! Definitely a catch. x

Thats awesome! So sweet of him!
My DH is definatly the cook of the house! Im excellent at baking but awful at cooking!
When my DH and I first started dating I accidentally gave him food poisoning  my bad! after that I stay out of the kitchen for the most part!

Aww bless him! Hopefully his confidence with cooking will increase now he knows he can do it :)

Awwww, bless him.

It's more hard work for me if DH tries to cook. All I get is "how do i cook this, how long does it take, how do I know if it's done"

As for getting him to see Twilight....how the f**k did you manage that?! I think he deserves a round of applause tbh!

The advert came on TV, I looked at DH, he just muttered "Don't even think about it, I'm NOT going"......who says romance is dead

My oh even offered to go see the marathon in the end! 11 hours of it lmao!! He's a sweetie pie, he's big on romance. X

aww bless - my OH has a nvq in cooking and still cant bloody do it!! lol

he also likes twilight....where as i cannot stand it!!! lol x
