I saw the consultant today regarding my bump measuring small at my last midwife appointment and after initially giving my tummy a quick feel she decided that my baby was "very small" and that I'd probably need inducing. Not exactly what I wanted to hear! But thankfully I was sent for a scan and it showed that my fluid levels are perfect, my placenta function is great and most importantly, I have a very happy baby in there who is currently about 7lbs in weight and has long legs just like their older siblings 
After I got the scan results the doctor pretty much changed her tune and blamed my small bump on my height (I'm just under 6ft) and the fact that baby is fully engaged. I knew that all along! Sigh. But at least they're happy for me to go ahead with my home birth now and I don't need to see the doctor again.
I'm really hoping this baby makes an appearance soon, I'm getting painful contractions every day and really bad trapped wind.. Not a good combo. Lol!
