so sick with cold and cough how do I not spread it to baby

I am sick with a chest cold. How do you not spread to baby when you have to hold and feed.

Keep breastfeeding and let baby comfort suck as much as possible. This happened to me- horrible cold with coughing sneezing, etc. for over a week and baby never got it. You are passing antibodies to the cold to your LO through your breastmilk. Cool trick, huh?

The most important thing is to just breastfeed as your LO will be protected from it by the antibodies in your milk. It's amazing stuff!
