just wondering what kind of underwear u will wear after the birth. i dont mean to be nosey honest. i know i will probably bleed heavily after so should i buy big knickers or normal ones??

my sis says the bigger the better and so does my niece (niece gave birth last yr) lol

I have HUGE black knickers from M&S and lots of them! I had to fight the grannies for them

Loads of big cheapo knickers. Go to primark or asda, they are super cheap from there, probably cheaper than disposable xx

I am in cheapy granny knickers now, just bought a few full briefs, (nothing brief about them) from primark in the sale(ha ha even cheaper!) but because you can get through them so fast for just a day or so after the birth i will be in disposable ones, I found them fab but you do need to over estimate your size a bit with them xx

The bigger and stretchier the better - just in case of c-section, best to have some that won't sit near the scar area. I had emergency section with my first, and my granny pants were a life saver!

totally agree, i know for a fact that it was my sexy ones that got me into trouble too

thanks a mill ladies, def getting the granny knickers, never thought of getting black ones either. they will def keep the OH away from me for a while

ive got big ones for bleeding period but also have some of my parners old briefs they make em a bit more fitting and found that they stop the dreaded maternity pads moving aound and are a bit thicker in material so help if you do happen to leak,have used these over my own knickers with all four of my kids after birth and they work wonders though dont look sexy but to be honest who cares when youve just given birth and bleeding comfort is everything.

big soft pants. Imagine the jumbo pads its gotta hold! Loose is good too - espcially after stitches. My hosp supplied me with those lovely big disposable net pants - I wore them at home too!
