Random questions:

I’m starting to go a bit nuts in my 2WW and I am reading blogs and posting like a mad person but I can help it. So here are my new questions that I just want some feed back on.

Early signs?

1) 7dpIUI
2) Cramping like bloat
3) Some slight diarrhea
4) Pains in my lower stomach
5) Tired


Anyone?

When I got pregnant, it felt like my period was coming on. Everything was the same except for the fact that I ended up with a bunch of snot. I thought maybe I was coming down with a cold.... but nope. It was the baby.

at 7dpo, I did go in for an infertility test, but they had to stop the test due to the fact that my cervix was blue. They said congrats, you are pregnant..... imagine my surprise. Apparently your cervix turns blue when you are pregnant. Who would have thought?

WOW Congratulations!!

Ended up with snot? As in like a cold? I am 7 days in. I know I am symptom spotting but this process is so expensive, emotionally hard, and physically hard.... I want it so badly. I'm turning into a crazy person.

Yes as in a head cold. I thought i was getting sick, but apparently the immune system is slightly suppressed when an egg implants and because of this some women get cold like symptoms.

We are in similar boats. Just a short story on me...tried when first married in 2003 for about 4 yrs, decided to quit (still no birth control), spent about 6 years very happily married & no children..figured if it happened, it happened. Then I turned 30 & my clock started...took 18 months to get husband on board. Now we are about 6 months in to actively trying again. We have determined so far no issues with me...we are dealing with a low count. So after 3 months of clomid by itself, we are now in the IUI stage. So on 1/31 we had IUI, 1 million washed count...crossing our fingers. My gyno is doing the procedure, so we had some timing issues because of the office openings. So we hope we got the timing right. I am doing unmonitored, no trigger. Just using opks.

Good luck with your testing. I will just be waiting out for AF...not doing a blood test. But I may start testing on Monday. So far for me, I don't feel like I have had any symptoms. My husband is convinced it worked & I had a dream I saw a second line. I am cautiously hopeful.

We most definitely in the same boat! And as twisted as this sounds, I am so excited to find someone who is.

So far, there isn’t anything specific wrong with either my husband or I, and as you can tell from my signature, its been a process. I test Monday. So I am literally starting to twitch. I don’t want to go through this again. This cycle I did at home injectables, a trigger, IUI, and am now taking progesterone suppositories, which are awful. Couple that with the price of everything and the multiple dr visits with blood work and ultra sounds….

It is always good to have some company. We are hoping I am super fertile like my mom & sister...we have a lot of "accidents" in my family. I think my dr will do 3 rounds of unmonitored IUI...after that I will probably be referred to an RE. We have decided since we have no issues with me that are known, I would like to do one cycle at least of completely monitored IUI with trigger & all that before moving to IVF.

Let's hope neither of us have to go any further. My husband has recently caught the fever. When we first started, I really think he only came on board to make me happy. But the past couple of months, he has gotten into it way more. Plus he just had a birthday in Aug...turned 36. So I really think that had a bit to do with it. We have started buying small things...but found a great deal on a stroller we just couldn't pass up. Now he spends his days walking through the baby & toy dept at the store he works at. He actually just called me to tell me there was a children's kitchen set marked way down. I said you are nuts...keep your wallet in your pants!

My husband just turned 36! I will be 29 on Monday, consequently the day I test as well, which means this could either be the best or worst birthday EVER. I haven't bought anything. I wanted to years ago, buy a piece of maternity wear. Just for fun. My hubs said no though. Not knowing at that time, obviously, that we would struggle. I am kind of glad I didn't, that article of clothing may have been burned by now in an angry hormonal rage!!!

I am trying really hard not to think about how much time is between me and finding out. I may break down and take a HPT. But at the same time, I will just tell myself that it may not be accurate with a response either way.
