Hi ladies

Music is really important to me and over the years it has got me through many dark times. Just wondering if anyone else has any songs they listen to for the bad, or good times of ltttc/ac?

Am going with a positive vibe atm so my fave is Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked and as my sig says, Dont Stop Believing by Journey.

Looking to hearing your ideas. :flower:

Great choices Mrs G

At the moment it's Get Lucky by Daft Punk, Fine China by Chris Brown and Treasure by Bruno Mars. All very recent songs.
September by Earth, Wind and Fire was my first dance song and I always feel great when I listen to it

Xxxxxx

Oasis - stop crying your heart out is my bad song so avoid! lol

My feel good song is Bruno Mars locked out of heaven or UB40 Kingston town purely for the good memories they hold x

Great songs!!
Rem, everybody hurts is also one to avoid!! Lady gaga, just dance is a good one too.
Have you ever heard/seen the video to Kelly Coffey I'd die for that? Def pick your moment to watch it but very relevant to all our situations

Xx

i love Micheal Buble Havent met you yet. I love him anyway and this song just makes me feel really positive that it will all happen... It just hasnt yet :)

My down song is Anastacia - Left Outside Alone  Hence the negative sig lol :dohh: But its upbeat its just the words

I agree though, I LOVE Defying Gravity! That gets blasted soooo loud when im on a high. Also Beyonce - Listen. The lungs get a stretch when that comes on. Maybe that one isnt TTC related but you sing along to that (or in my case screech!) and not feel better for it. :happydance::happydance:

I swear I needed to read that right now. I never thought of those lyrics like that - and now, I will keep this song on my playlist. Thank you.

Am loving all these suggestions ladies. :flower: Keep 'em coming!! Xx

usually Even if It Breaks Your Heart - Eli Young Band

"Some dreams, stay with you forever, drag you 'round and bring you back to where you were" (this is how I feel about how long I've wanted to be a mom, about my first marriage divorce and new marriage, yup, dragged around and brought back to the start...)
"Some dreams, keep on gettin' better, gotta keep believin' if ya wanna know for sure" (this is where I gotta just keep believin)
Keep on dreamin even if it breaks your heart!!

It's safe to say I have next to zero social life. haha

Worn by 10th Ave North. There's a lot others but this one is how I felt in our darkest phase of infertility, the one year mark, and watching friends, and frenemies get pregnant in the meantime. :/

I'm tired
I'm worn
My heart is heavy
From the work it takes to keep on breathing

I've made mistakes
I've let my hope fail
My soul feels crushed
By the weight of this world
And I know that you can give me rest
So I cry out with all that I have left

Let me see redemption win
Let me know the struggle ends
That you can mend a heart that's frail and torn

I want to know a song can rise
From the ashes of a broken life
And all that's dead inside can be reborn
Cause I'm worn

I know I need
To lift my eyes up
But I'm too week

Life just won't let up
And I know that You can give me rest
So I cry out with all that I have left

Let me see redemption win
Let me know the struggle ends
That you can mend a heart that's frail and torn

And my prayers are wearing thin
I'm worn even before the day begins
I'm worn I've lost my will to fight
I'm worn so heaven so come and flood my eyes
