I was driving home totay from the shops and Alicia Keys "no one" came on the radio, and I felt myself burst into tears, not just cry a bit bit really break down. Im not sure if anyone else ever feels the same, about certain songs.

I have attached a like to u-tube for anyone who hasnt heard it, I think its about a parter leaving but alot of the words say exactly what I feel right now.

Not sure if anyone else wants to share any songs or anything that say how the feel or have helped them.

(another one for me just now is the Miley Sirus, The climb - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NG2zyeVRcbs)

:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Great thread! When my loss was still very new back in February, I started a similar thread. Check it out here. There are quite a few other great examples in that thread as well.

Songs can be such a powerful thing when you're grieving. Even now, more than three months since, I still find myself going back to some of these songs and having a good cry.

Eventhough this song is obviously not about miscarriage, some of the words ring true. Our EDD for our first was to be in November.

the song that always gets me crying is this one. it was on an advert for channel five's tear jerker movies (in the u.k) and it was advertised when we found out about jessica. everytime i heard it i would start to well up and turn the t.v over til the advert had finished. i googled it and the words are lovely. x

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrZcB-9i7I0This is the song for me, although it's about a different thing, a lot of the words say how I feel and it was the first song I listened to when I came out of hospital, it always gives me that same feeling when I hear it.

I don't have a video, but the day after our loss, "In The Arms of an Angel" by Sarah McLaughlin came on the radio and my husband and I had to pull over and hold each other and cry. It was cathartic though, because we knew then, that our little girl was with the angels. I hope to never hear it again though.

las 78- i love that song too i know the song is about love but the words are so lovely and relate somewhat to how we are feeling about our babies. x

i think music is lovely at expressing your emotions.

i'm currently writing a song for jessica (used to write alot of songs when i was younger but stopped after i met df and had our girls) x

That song always sets me off, even before we lost Gillian, it reminds me of all my loved ones that are not here any more.

This song came out right after the loss of my father. But it was the first song I listened to after we lost our DD Rebecca.
Eric Clapton wrote this song for his son who died.
