sore right breast!!!!

just want some more advice!

Since last night i have had a constant pain and stinging in my right boob.

It woke me up during the night and thought it may just be engorged but the pain continued after I had fed alex.The pain was no different when feeding him.

The pain is at the top of the breast near my armpit and underneath the breast but in the breast and not in my chest.

It feels a bit hard underneath and have tried to express but cannot empty the breast totally.

It is not red, feels warm and i feel fine in myself.

Do you think this is mastitis? just that is not hot, red, swollen and i am well!!!

It sounds like mastitus hun but I have no personal experience of it. Maybe you should get your self to your gp xxx

I have had this twice now, once in each breast, its really sore, like you I did not feel ill, have a temp or anything just a really sore patch with a hard lump. I think it was a blocked milk duct and I made sure I fed loads from that boob and I massaged the lump downwards towards the nipple while feeding and it cleared up by the next day. hope this helps.

well it developed more into a red hot lump overnight and still very sore so i went to gp and it is mastitis
i have antibiotics and hope it will clear up soon!!!
