Sorry guys a question about poo!!!

I started weaning Michael just after 4 months as advised by health visitor, and he is now on 3 meals a day, which he loves!
The only concern i have is about his poo for the last 2-3 weeks its been alot harder than usual , it is probably the same consistency as normal adult poo, i ve tried giving prunes and extra water but it does not seem to soften the poo.
He still poos about 3 times a day so hes still regular.
What consistency should his poo be?????

Hiya, when I first started to wean Charlie (also at 4 months) his poo was rock hard & he sounded constipated. He would try & push one out for ages before it would make an appearance. I'd say that its only the last month or so that his poo has got a bit softer.

He has greatly increased his water intake though & as well as 4/5 good breast feeds he also drinks a pint of water a day. Some days more.
