I took a day and a half of work off this week because I knew I was going to miscarry so I thought I’d better stay home. When I m/c’ed last time in April, I told my manager about it, and took 3 days off. This time, I didn’t tell her about it because, she doesn’t need to know. But because she knows I’m trying to have a baby, she thinks I took work off because I’m pregnant. Every morning she comes in and asks “are you ok?” with like a smirk on her face. I don’t want to tell her anything because she’s normally very nosey anyways. It’s just irritating: her jumping into her own conclusions and being indirectly insensitive.

I only found this site today and it's helped me through a really terrible day which hasn't ended yet
It's really difficult with work. I haven't been in all week and my boss has told everyone that I am working from home on a special project! Really sweet of her but I know when I do go back my staff will give me the same amount of c**p as usual. I don't want everyone to know but I do want them to cut me some slack somehow.

I'm worried that a day and a half off work isn't long enough for you.......?

I hope you're ok - try and keep work in a seperate box (I know it's hard)
