Anyone using Soy?! https://www.twoweekwait.com/newsletter/2006-01/ I feel like RUNNING to the vitamin store after reading this! Unfortunately, I haven't found TOO much information regarding it, not enough anyway....does anyone know if there are any ill side effects? I ovulate at different times every month, my cycles are anywhere from 27-42 days long. Im hoping this will make me O sooner and more predictably....what does everyone think?

One more question...if you are taking it, when do you take it and how much? If I already ovulate normally every month (but never the same time) will it mess up my cycle?

If you ovulate normally then you don't really need to take it, ALTHOUGH, some people think it makes their Ov stronger. I have very messed up cycles so tomorrow is going to be my first day of taking soy.

Well, I guess I don't O "normally", but generally very late- CD 27-29 which can be problematic. I would like to O sooner (and more often, since such long cycles end up in ovulating less over time) I think i'll give it a go. Thanks! Let me know how it works for you.

This is my first cycle taking it, I take 80mg, think I might end it with 120mg. I haven't had any side effects yet, I've only taken it 4 times though. I take it at night right before bed and sometimes I will wake up with a low grade headache.

I've read if you have very regular periods it can mess up your cycle, but sometimes it helps. I'm not 100% sure though... If it's irregular it'll help. I had an extremely long cycle (60+days) because of m/c and I don't want it to happen again. My cycles vary 27-34 days.

Hi all, took soy first time this month, now on CD14, normally have 35-45 days cycles though up to 75 days has been known in the past! I took:
cd5 - 46mg
cd6 - 69mg
cd7 - 69mg
cd8 - 92mg
cd9 - 115mg

Didn't have any side effects while taking it, although I don't normally ovulate roughly until CD21 (If at all) and then get sore boobs about a week after that, they've already started hurting last couple of days so hoping i've ovulated earlier than usual or it's just a side effect from the soy!
Starting clomid next month, should have just waited but i've had the soy for ages, was just too chicken to take them but kept seeing too many good results, fingers crossed for everyone!
