SPD & Swimming?

Think I might have SPD - it's only mild at the moment if I have got it (I get pains around my pubic bone when I lift my legs especially at night which seems to fit with the symptoms).

I'm just wondering if anyone with SPD has been given advice about swimming - I've read that breast stroke legs is out (which is what I usually do) but the websites I've looked at so far just say to 'take care' with other strokes.

I'm supposed be going tonight - don't want to stop if I don't have to as I need the exercise.
