Hey girls just wondered what you all thought, we've picked

Ollie James Lawrence Guest

for our little boy (Middle names after grandads) but when we've told a few peeps that this is our choice "if" its a boy they've said the spelling is wrong n that it should be Olly. We preferred the ie ending as its less common but now im worrying its gonna look stupid...any thoughts?? xx

I think it can be either, but personally I prefer Ollie.

I prefer Ollie.
My boyfriend is Oliver...and we call him Ollie!
x

thanks girlies :) Ollie it is!!! now hurry up little one! lol x

I agree with the other girls, I dont think it matters but Ollie looks better imo

I think Olly - would be liable for teasing being Oily....

but Ollie is lovely!

I prefer Ollie and wouldnt have thought about spelling it the other way tbh. I dont know if its got anything to do with Olly Murrs from X-factor, as to why people think it should be that way... I would go with what you want. Also I think with the middle names, it needs to be spelt the longer way.

xXx

i prefer it spelled Ollie :)

my lil bro is Ollie :D

I like Ollie more but it seems very feminine and girly. I'd name him Oliver then call him Ollie as a nickname. That way when he's a grown man, he'll actually have a man's name, not a hybrid girlish nickname.
