Okay ladies I have been actively ttc since October of last year. Hubby has a lo from when he was a teenager. And I miscarried October 2011. Anyhow hubby has had some testicle problems, he has had testicular torsion but they were able to save him testicles. Anyways now here I am with no bfp. I have gained 40 lbs since my.miscarriage(natural) . So ladies I need your honest opinions, should I focus more on my weight being the problem or hubby? I feel like since he already has a lo and has gotten me pregnant once it must be my fault! I have a appointment with a fertility specialist on Jan 2ND.

Have any of yall heard if the sperm count test from the store are accurate ? Thanks ladies also looking for some ttc buddies :)

Hi Bailee, I noticed that no one responded and didn't want to read & run. I would def focus on loosing the weight. Often when you loose weight, it helps your fertility. My gf got pregnant with both of her children while training for two iron man competitions. That's a little extreme but when you're overweight your body has less ability to regulate your hormones. Also, if you're exercising on a regular basis you greatly increase the blood circulating around your ovaries.

There's nothing wrong with getting a proper doc's SA test done for him but why wait to start on your own health journey? My clock has been ticking loudly the last couple of years, we've done everything we possibly can to help conceive. Good luck with everything however you choose to move forward!

Thanks for replying, yeah I really think it has to do with my weight I have lost 3 lbs. I know it's not a lot but it's a good start I have cut out all regular sodas and only drink diet im hoping to quit drinking soda all together. Thanks for the encouraging words :) good luck with your ttc journey!

Hi. My oh brought one online which had good reviews from amazon. It came out that his sperm was ok which then gave him the confidence to get it done properly and it came back his swimmers are fine :) xx

I think its a good idea to have him tested and yourself tested as well to make sure your ovulating regularly and hormones are in balance, just because he has a child from years ago and got you pregnant once last year does not mean his sperm count is good. my husband has a slightly low count and we have conceived twice naturally it just takes us a little longer then most couples trying. its good to try to eat healthier, stay away from as much sugar and white flour products as possible eat more protien fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoid all soda as even the diet kind is bad for you and take a multivitamin if your not already.

Thanks ladies :)
I have a appointment the 26th so we will see !!!!
