Hey girls I was wondering if there was any way I could conceive five days before ovulation with out ewcm! I only get it for one day! Does that lower my number of my fertility window?

It is possible! My sister dtd once in her cycle, 5 days before O and now has a healthy 4 year old! FX for you!

Yep. 4 days before ovulation here, no ewcm and we used KY Liquid lube.

Sperm can live in your body for up to 7days, even though usually it actually lives for about 3/4 days.
Soooo... 5 days is a pretty good possibility!

I mentioned the KY because people are always so concerned about "regular" lube either killing or immobilizing sperm. I don't think it really has much of an effect at all.


After 10-12 hours the sperm have swum all the way into the uterus, so I don't think the fertile CM plays as big of a role as people think. Just my opinion.

Oh ok I just read that in order for them to last that long they need fertile mucus because if the acid environment! Thanks for replying

The fertile environment was pivotal for me. Gfj, preseed and mucinex combo finally got me pregnant after two years of ttc

Yeah I think it's an issue for me too! I only seen it this once in the longest time and it latest for a half a day! So that's why I was curious if it lowers your fertile window period down to a day or two
