DF had Doctors today and she gave us our letter and LITTLE pot!
I thought the sperm sample pots would be bigger but they were tiny..the same size you use for a urine test. Liams face when he seen it and the laugh we had trying to get it right in there

Just went to Northwick park hospital and dropped it off at pathology reception Results in a weeks time and Fertility specialist appointment in 12 days! Hope our fertility problems aren't worse than just PCOS!!

Btw there wasn't alot of semen at all in the sample. We haven't had sex in 3 days which is what they say to do, yet the amount was as thick as your thumb in the pot...is that normal???

FX for a good result

'normal' quantity is 2-5ml so half to a teaspoonful. Teeny amount really and I agree it seems way more when you're leaky after DTD !

Aw good luck my OH gave his 3rd sample today - because we live over an hour away from the hospital he has to do his there

It being thick was normal too. It starts to liquify after sitting for 10 min. I think that's one of the reasons you're suppose to stay horizontal in bed after BD'ing.
