Spitting water from straw cup!

He's been doing this a while now but it's really starting to get annoying because his clothes just get soaked.

I'm also worried about when we start moving his milk into sippy cups. Plus I'm not sure if he's getting enough water? He drinks a bit down and then just plays with the rest and spits it everywhere. He thinks it's hilarious.

Any advice? Tell me I'm not alone?

My boy did this too for a few weeks and seemed to think it was hilarious. Best thing I did was ignore it, I whipped off his t shirt without comment and put a new one on. The less fuss I made the boring it was. It passed after another week or two.

They go through these phases. Just ignore it and don't make a big deal out of it and it will stop. The more you react, they more he'll want to keep doing it.

My niece did this for a while. We all made the mistake of pointing it out and telling her off. Now at almost three she has a fit if she gets even as much as a drop of water on her clothes and wants changed instantly. I would ignore it and hopefully he will get fed up doing it Xxx
