Spotting 3 weeks after MC

I had my MC 3 weeks ago. I thought I'm over here still waiting to ovulate, but I've had pink spotting today. My nurse says it could be the start of a new cycle, but this seems really early to me and I definitely didn't ovulate. Confused as to what is going on.

Having a miscarriage really can mess up your cycles due to fluctuating hormones. I've had a lot of weird bleeding since my mmc in July. My periods are still regular in length but the bleeding has varied with each cycle from very light to incredibly heavy and lasting up to 9 days or as little as 3 days. I've had spotting in between my cycles as well, around ovulation time and about 3-4 days before AF was due. It is perfectly normal, though incredibly confusing.

Didn't want to read and run, but I concur with what Caviar said. Our hormones goes through some crazy things. My first cycle after my miscarriage I spotted when I ovulated (never happened since)...so maybe you are about to ovulate? I'm very sorry for your loss

Thanks for the insight! I saw the doc today and he checked my follicles and lining and said it could go either way. I don't have any eggs that look like they are about to release and my lining is pretty thin. So he thinks AF could start this weekend or wait awhile. He just said, wait for the first day of full flow and count that as cd1 and start Clomid on day 3.
