Spotting 5-6 days after the HSG. Any experiences?

Hi ladies! It's been a long time since I've been on this forum. My partner and I have now been TTC for over 2 years and we are currently at the fertility testing stage.

I had my HSG last Thursday and I found that it didn't hurt at all. When she told me my tubes were clear, I said to her 'oh is that it done??'.

I had no spotting after the test, and only very slight barely noticeable cramping for a few hours. However last night, which was 5 days later, I noticed slight pink spotting when wiping. Today I have the pink spotting on and off, again only when wiping. Is it normal to have no spotting after the HSG and then spot 5 and 6 days later? I am only on CD20 so it surely can't be the start of my period.

I'd love to hear what you think and if you have any similar experiences.

No-one responded to this, I thought I would respond with an update. I spotted slightly for a few days, between 5 and 7 days after the HSG. I had my period as normal that cycle, so it must have been something to do with the HSG.

I wouldn't be concerned. Its pretty normal to have anything weird happen after an hsg

I know it's late, but just wanted to add my experience in case someone else finds it helpful. I had the procedure done on CD10, it was super painful for me and did result in spotting from right after the exam to CD15.
