Spotting after sex during ovulation?

My Hubby and I are TTC. Last week I was cycle day 13 and I’m pretty sure I ovulated. Well that night I start spotting and spotted a little the next day. It was not a period I just spotted a little. Anyone ever experience this and end up being pregnant?

I think mid cycle spotting can be pretty common, I have not read any stories that it resulted in pregnancy but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen, just not sure if it's related or not.

I had mid cycle spotting in August 2019, so I went and got checked at my ObGyn’s. It was nothing. She said it’s old period blood that can come to few women due to a lot of factors like stress, age, exercise etc. I was 27 then, with regular 30 day cycles. I was exercising, and staying more active as I was planning for a baby.

I conceived in November 2019, I had spotting at 6-7 weeks. It was completely normal. I have an 8 month old baby boy now.
