Spotting cd14

Hey girls, it's been awhile i've just been really discouraged. I'm not sure if you count the last day of your mentrual cycle as day 1 or not but I began spotting a brown discharge 14 days after my period stopped. I was freaking out thinking I was starting my period and having a extremely short cycle. The spotting stopped after 2 or 3 days and never accumulated enough to fill a panty liner. My cycles have been pretty messed up before last month they were 25 days, last month it was a 32 day cycle. I don't think the spotting is from ovulation because I took a ovulation test about 2 days before the spotting started and it was stark white. Any ideas what would make me spot like that? Is there a chance it could have been implantation bleeding? I have a feeling it was too early for that but my cycle is so messed up lately I have not the slightest clue when I ovulate..

Hi, you should be counting the first day of your period as CD 1. So if your period is 4-5 days long, you are actually on CD 18-19. Which means you could be having spotting that is implantation (although very few women get that) or it's just normal spotting for one of many reasons. I would go back and reevaluate your chart using the first day of your period as CD 1 and see how that aligns.

Okay, so I counted back and it would put me at cd20, is that a good sign? I had a early miscarriage last may and I experienced implantation bleeding but it was heavier than what I just experienced.

Ok, so if you are on CD 20 then O was probably around day 12-14. So you would be about 6 dpo now. So implantation is possible, but a little spotting before your period is normal too, it's hard to say. Do you know exactly when you ovulated? Do you chart your bbt?

No, I was going too but never got around to buying a thermometer. So instead we just DTD like crazy and hoped for the best. I guess my only choice is to wait and see. I'm not even sure when to expect my period because they've been so all over the place. Sighh.

I know some people spot during ovulation, so i'm leaning between that and implantation. But i'm hoping for implantation bleeding

I was always hopeful that my post O spotting was implantation too, but from the research I've done, it looks like very few women actually get that. It's definitely frustrating. You should get the thermometer, I think mine was under $10. It really helps having more information.

Hun you should definitely start charting your cycles, then it would be clearer when you had ovulated x

I had pretty bad cramping after and during sex last night so i'm wondering if I have infection of some sort. Are you ladies TTC?

Today makes 40 days since the first day of my last period with no sign of period coming. I'm concerned about possibly having pcos. I haven't taken a test because I just doubt i'm pregnant I haven't had any symptoms whatsoever. Ugh, i'm so annoyed with my cycle..
