Spotting for 5 days

So I started spotting on CD 17. Its now 5 days later and still spotting. Its brown/pink and very light. I wore a pad and nothing shows on that. Only see it when I wipe. My cycles are normally 25 days. I will spot 2 days prior to normal flow but never have I spot like this 5 days before or a week before my period is due. IB from what I read should only last 2 days at the most. I'm confused and this has never happened. Is it worth taking a pregnancy test or is this spotting lasting too long? I took a test 2 days after the bleeding started and it was negative but that was CD 19 and I have a 25 day cycle. Help.

I would test! I didn't experience IB and don't know what is "normal" ... but there are a lot of outliers when it comes to normal and you could be one that spots for 5 days.
