Spotting while breastfeeding HELP

Question!
My DD is 1 and I have only had 2 periods since she has been born (which have been irregular) because of me EBF, but 6 days ago I started spotting brown, very little only a few drops in my underwear the whole day but this is day 6 and there is no let up. I had my period 4 1/2 weeks ago and pregnancy tests are negative. Any advice? I am a bit worried something is wrong.

Just hormones dear. If a HPT is negs then no worries.

Are you on any form of contraception that could cause spotting?

sounds normal. brown blood is old blood so probably hormones.

i had spotting for about 4-5 days recently, barely any bleeding!

im just putting it down to my hormones trying to get back to normal.

No I am not on any form of contraceptive. It stopped after 7 days, so maybe a period? Maybe stress? I am really not sure at all.
