Spotty 2 week old

For the past couple of days my 2 week old has had quite a spotty face but it seems to be getting worse as opposed to better. She's not spotty anywhere else it's mainly her cheeks. I just wanted to know if your babies had anything similar and also if it's normal?

Looks like normal baby acne to me. It is very common in young babies.

My son has super sensitive skin though and is always sensitive to lotions...are you putting anything on her cheeks? If so, I would say to stop and see if it clears to rule out skin sensitivity issues.

If you see it spread elsewhere on her body of notice any swelling, I would call her ped.

Looks like what my daughter had around that same time. I read up about it and saw to out breast milk on it. If you are nursing this would be something mild to try. My daughters did clear up a few days after I started doing this but I don't know if it was coincidental.

No I'm not using any lotions on her at all just olive oil for the dryness but again not on her face.

I don't remember DD1 getting acne, she had milk spots which DD2 also has but the actual spots themselves look ever so sore

Does she seem extra fussy? From your pictures it looks normal, but if your momma instinct is telling you something, I would listen to it. Not going to hurt to call her doctor and see what they think.
