Sorry if tmi, but when im breastfeeding theirs times when Lexi latches off for a break and my milk squirts reallllly far, even managed to squirt DH in the face when he was sitting on the floor beside my nursing chair, is there anyway to stop this? i know its natural but it really soaks through and im having to change her clothes more often because they get soaked from it

As your supply equalizes you will most likely stop leaking like this. It should happen at 8-16 weeks or so.

I must be really lucky as mine don't do that. I guess just keep a cloth handy.

I was having huge issues with that to the point that we made the best of it and it became a game... anyways I found just keeping an extra reciever around helped and just touching the nipple with it would help it to stop for a bit, well at least until the next time that she let go :)

I just keep a cloth handy. However, tonight LO lost her latch and when I went to reattach, I squirted her in the nose and eye, poor thing... she didn't know what hit her, she looked so surprised :)

Love the piccy above :)

That happened a lot in the first 3 months after each of my girls was born but then my milk supply adjusted over time. How old is your baby??

This happens to me too, which is one reason im not so confident feeding in public as I dont want to squirt everywhere! I usually try to 'aim' it into her mout and get her latched back on before it can go everywhere. Other times when shes pulled right away I hold my breastpad on it until the flow stops! very annoying, but one of them things1 xxxx
