stabbing pain after bump trauma?!

bit of a dramatic title. my dog just jumped on bump and it literally felt like his foot was a knife that went right through me. it was the left side of my bump and honestly the only way i can describe it is as though i'd been stabbed
the pain lasted for a few minutes and then sort of eased off but now feels really achey. he has jumped on me before and the pain has never been anything like this! any ideas?

Have you felt your LO kick or any movements?
Can you call your mw and see what she thinks? That sounds really painful, I had a lot of things happen while I was pregnant, my dogs were constantly jumping on the bump but everything was fine. babies are cushioned really well so I'm sure everything's fine. You could call your midwife just be certain though if you're worrying about it.

I agree, if the baby doesnt seem to be moving right anymore, definiately call. Or if you get anymore pain..maybe call just to see what she advises and so they have record of it?
