Starting clomid this month!!!! Help

So we've been ttc for 2 yrs and we have unexplained infertility so my ob did an ultrasound yesterday and said it Looked great and I actually did ovulate this mnth. Since af is random and my ovulation is patchy, she gave me clomid for my next cycle. I take it on day3-7 what time of day do I take it? And any advice? Thanks so much

Well my FS told me to take it at night before bed to minimise side effects. xxx

I'm starting Clomid for the first time in a few days too. Mine said the same thing... At night. She also said "get ready for hot flashes!" Eeek.

I took mine just before bed and ended up not sleeping too well on those days, kept waking up as I was either really hot or freezing cold. I guess it's better than having the symptoms in the day.

I was told to make sure I drank plenty as it can dehydrate you - I've found that I've been really thirsty since taking them.

Ashleyjean - What does of clomid are you going to be taking and on what days?

I tried 3 cycles of clomid on days 5-9 and now I am trying my 4th round with the IUI.

I am with ebony, my first cycle I took in the morning and dealt with horrible side effects all day-headache, hot flashes, drowsiness, dizziness. My second cycle I took before bed and slept through all of the side effects. I don't really have any advice to offer-just wish you luck.

Im in my 2ww of first round of clomid days 2-6 unexplained! I took it in the morning had the headaches and hot flushes and awful ov pains like never before and some mid cycle bleeding but these lasted day and night so im sure it wouldnt matter what time i took it! Good luck for your cycle and lots of baby dust xx

I finished my first round last week and took it just after dinner. I figured it would be good to have food in my stomach since I have delicate digestion. I didn't have any side-effects at all. Not even a twinge. I thought it hadn't worked, but the scan I had showed that two follicles (one in each ovary) will ovulate this month! Mine was 50mg.

I think everyone's body reacts differently, but I would suggest late in the day and not on an empty stomach.

ahhh....so I just looked at my bottle to take it and it says take cd5-9!! I am almost 100% sure my ob said cd3-7?? erg. now i'm so confused! Will it make a huge difference if I wait for tomorrow and call to make sure what she wants? Has anyone ever started theirs on cd4?? please answer...should I just take it tonight anyway?
