Starting Femara

I'm going to be adding Femara to my regimen. Just wanted to see who else is using/ has used, any success stories, or anything about the drug in general? If my insurance won't cover it, my RE said he'd prescribe Clomid. This is all very new to me & I wanted to get any insight from experienced women. TY!

Im on my 4th FE cycle (5mg). no BFP yet. Your doc can have it billed as something that will be covered, you just may have to ask.

I just did Femara my 1st round. Ins. didnt cover it

Going onto round 2. Didnt get my BFP.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I will be starting with Femara, Gonal F Injections, and an Ovidrel trigger shot next month with an IUI. I don't have any experience with them yet, but let's hope we both get our BFP!

I am currently on my 2nd cycle of Femara and although I haven't got my BFP yet I am impressed with the lack of side effects. Going back to the docs on Thursday for a scan and a trigger shot so who knows this could be my month.

Really hope that it does the trick for you and if your insurance does not cover it then go to the Femara website as they have a deal that could mean you get your prescription for $10 which is amazing. I found this on a thread on another forum. Shame I do not live in the US.
