starting light working out while pregnant

So i have confidence issues and a serious issue of mine is my fat thighs would it be ok to do light thigh work outs everyday (squats, lunges and leg lifts etc?)

i know this probably sound silly but at the moment i have nothing i can't wear high heel, my clothes don't fit, i want to put make up on but it looks a mess

sorry for the rant in just feeling icky
 
From what I understand that should be fine especially if your body is already used to it. Have you already been exercising prior to being prego? Maybe talk to your doc to check?

I actually ran a marathon last Saturday just a few days after I found out I am pregnant! I checked with my doctor and she said it was okay since I had trained up to the distance (obviously I listened to my body and walked when I needed to, drank plenty of water, etc)
