A lady from first tri. mentioned it to me. The reviews are awesome! And ladies get pregnant within the first three months. So im excited. Anyone else tried this or is taking this?

I am on it right now. I take 1200mg per day and have been taking it for about 2 months now. I started taking it because I have PCOS and very irregular cycles and I read that it was supposed to help with that so I could track my cycles and make ttc easier.

Hi there - this is my first month of using Vitex. I used it from Ov day onwards. I'm 16DPO and testing negative, but very crampy. I'm using 31-35 days in my cycle. I'm hoping AF either arrives today or I'm pregnant, because I've got all the tests scheduled this week and my appointments will have to be cancelled for another month if I'm not the right day of my cycle to have them.

This is also my first month of having acupuncture and using chinese herbs.

One thing I have noticed, which could be attributed to any of the above, is that I feel great this month! I suffer from depression on and off, but this month I have felt on top of the world! Maybe it's the hormones being a bit better balanced!

Keep me updated how the vitex is going.
Good luck!

What I have noticed is that normally I will go 6 months or more without getting a period, and I just got one after using vitex for 2 months. I had what I believe were o pains on 2/15 and 3/15 but I am not sure as I have never o'd before to the best of my knowledge. I am hoping that the vitex is giving my cycles some sort of regularity.

I also wanted to add that much of the information I have read in vitex says to take it your entire cycle as it takes a couple months to get the full effect of the herb and it won't really do anything unless you take it consistently. I did quite a bit of research before I decided to take it as I didn't want to rush into something not knowing what to expect.

I have been taking Vitex and Macca root for the last 3 weeks (TTC for 10 months after a miscarriage in April2013) and although I sadly dont think we have conceived this month I certainly can see a difference my temps are way more stable as are my moods.

Worth a shot for sure!
