I've been pumping to build up a freezer supply. Going to an adults only wedding in september and my mum should be having jessica for two nights. I've got a microwave steriliser and bottles. How long after coming out of the steriliser are the bottles and pumps sterile for?? Should I be filling them with boiled water?

should say on the instructions hon as it varies from one brand to another. will you be pumpung while away?

I'll have to pump or I'll be in pain and leaking! Don't know if there will be anywhere to store it though so it might need to be dumped :( x

I quit sterilizing when LO was full term, I just wash in hot soapy water. I wash the bottles, let them dry, and put the lids on them. I figure they stay clean with the lids on, on the inside.

When you are pumping milk for a full-term, healthy baby, you do not need to worry about sterilizing storage containers or pump parts. Wash your storage containers in hot soapy water, and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before you pump
