i bf my baby but i do not have the time to express so i give the ocassional bottle of formula if i have to leave him for any reason. i sterilise these bottles. my question is would you sterilise a bottle to make up formula just to put in cereals as this would be given to him straight away and not kept like a bottle is for an hour. thanks :flower:

To mix it do you mean? I would guess you still would as you still have to kill the bacteria in the formula and fast cool it but im only guessing

At 6+ you dont need to sterilize hun, so it's fine if you dont sterilize the bottle used for measuring. When Omar used to eat cereals, I used to add the scoops of formula directly to the cereals, then add water without measuring. When you use formula in food, you dont need to follow the preparation guidelines when it comes to water quantity & scoop numbers. You can aslo use cow milk instead of formula in his cereals frm 6+ months
