Sterilized at c section

We have an app in a fee.weeks with anethestics to discuss vbac or c section again, and me and husband have decided we want me.to.be sterilized, do we ask at his appointment or do.i speak to midwife or.gp?
Anyone thinking the same or have a family member /friend that's had it done at the same time.please

Hey my cousin did in 2017 tubes removed after c sec. Shes now in process of needing ivf tho as they both regret it. It was really straight forward if that helps and she sorted it by asking at thr appt u have booked x

I'm having my tubes tied when I have my daughter in 4 weeks. It's been done whilst having my section. I have high risk pregnancies and get VERY poorly and I'm 33 now so my daughter is my last. I told my ob my decision and they was fine with it xx

I think I would talk to your midwife or gyno. My sister in law had hers done and they really regretted it later on. They lost a boy after he was born, 2 years later, had another son, then 15 months later had another boy. They for sure they were done and she got her tubes tied. And once the boys got a little bigger, they were upset that they could t have anymore. But I know people that made the decision and were glad they did so it’s all personal preference I guess.

Im getting it done.
Its my 7 th pregnancy but 3rd child.
I def dont hve the energy for anymore , I asked at my first app and they hve double checked with me at every app but my.mind isnt changing
Im 38 and hve had difficulties with my health and mc so they said yes right away
My friend had it done after her 4th child.
She said it was the best decision for her.
But just be sure u dont hve a maybe I might hve another niggle.
I tried to be done with two
But the niggle won.
Now im happy im having my.planned third .But I genuinely feel.done now
Which I thought was a myth
