What do you all use??

I had a cold water one with my son 5 years ago but found it easier once someone gave me a steam one.

This time I got given a TT steam one and planned to use that but since Anna has moved hospital they have cold water sterilizers and it is soo Easy to use!

I love the fact that you can just leave stuff in there and it stays ready to use after 20mins of putting anything in there. Doesn't require to be near a plug, easy to take anywhere with you,

I was wondering about the electric ones I mean yes they are quicker but the stuff you leave in doesnt stay sterile for that long once you open it?!

Soo, now I have an electric one if I need something done quickly, and a cold one for putting more things in :) Also means when I know Anna is coming home I can sort out the cold one and everything will be ready when we get back from the hospital.

I've got an Avent miscrowave one and I've never had any issues with it

I've got an avent microwave too and it stays sterile for 24 hours unopened but yes it isn't classed as sterile pretty much as soon as you open it. Cold water sterilisers are good, however but I find that they made the teat go a funny colour and you can't leave teats dummies etc in longer than recommended as it can damage the silicone. I also prefer the steam ones as they don't use chemicals which I prefer although I fully accept that the chemicals don't harm babies in any way but I personally prefer not to use them X

I use a steam steriliser. I tried to cold sterilise when we were on vacation but Omar had allergy frm the solution around his mouth.
