6 weeks after my lap (my first proper cycle trying) I am getting cramps above pubic bone and inside of hips. Its not really sore AF like but really uncomfortable.

I would have thought the pain would have gone after the endo. TBH the most pain I get with AF is back pain (AF is due in 5 days) That's why this is quite annoying. My BB's aren't sore like they usually are at this time of the cycle. I know I will get my hopes up, but I'm pretty sure AF is coming.

I only had mild endo removed, but my cramps only got slightly better, not even really. I used to get just the back pain for the first 10 years of cycles and then I started getting g uterine cramping, and I still have it even after the lap.

My pain also did not get better after having endo removed... I think it is not uncommon. I also heard that more than 90% have the endo coming back after surgery. I read about Thomas Hilgers, he is a amazing doctor in the States who is doing something called near contact laser surgery. I heard that his succes rates are the opposite: among his patients only less than 10% experience that the endo comes back. I would love to have surgery by him...but I live in Europe:/
By the way, I have heard that taking around 400 mg of magnesium on your painful days helps. So I tried it the last two cycles and this cycle I actually had remarkably little pain.
Best wishes to you guys,
Amber

Thanks ladies. The genealogist (NHS) gave me a prescription as pain doesn't always go away, just not prepared to take anymore drugs in case they interfere with my fertility meds (not NHS).

My cramps are always back pain and a little uterus when AF arrives. But I now have it loads in uterus and egg area well before AF.
