I came down with the stomach flu starting sometime Saturday night. It hit me hard on Sunday - constant nausea, a fever and (tmi) diarrhea. I couldn't eat or drink anything all day. I realized I was probably getting dehydrated Sunday evening and managed to sip down a glass of water.

This morning, I woke up and I was nowhere near full like I usually am first thing, and I feel like LO has been fighting to get milk out of me all day. I've been sipping on water all day, but I'm still dehydrated (my urine is pretty orange).

I might let him nurse before bed as usual, then top him off with a bottle of expressed milk from the fridge.

Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it take you to get your supply back up to normal?

I got it when my little one was 8 weeks old, was sick all day Wednesday/ Thursday and still not able to eat or drink much Friday, my supply went right down and on the Saturday he was feeding all day, when before he was going 3 hours. I think the constant nursing (plus being able to eat and drink) helped and my supply started to come back Sunday and was fine by Monday morning

Thanks! I was hoping I wouldn't have to resort to drastic measures like taking fenugreek again. Today is day three, and although I have a lowgrade fever, I'm feeling a lot better and am able to drink more and actually eat a little! I figured I'd keep it slow and eat bland food. I'm eating oatmeal, hoping it will be calm enough for my stomach but also help with my supply.

Thanks for your input!
