I have a hip bursa. It sucks!!! Its been really playing up since ive uped my gym sessions.

Well today my doc told me no cross training and no walking up hills :cry: i dont mind running, can run 5k in 28 mins lol. But it gets a bit boring. I cant stand the stationary bikes, gonna have to learn to love them.

Doc defo doesnt want me to stop going as ive lost 4.5 stone on my own through diet and gym. But gotta modify

Urrrrrrgh just a moany rant really.
 
Sorry hun! Working out in pain (or living with chronic pain) is never fun. I know. I could give you a laundry list- but the point is, I've found several classes that over time have helped me. I feel stronger and even if it's more painful during- which I can usually manage well enough- overall it doesn't make my pain worse day to day. In fact, I feel like it helps. Cause when I can't hit the gym for a week or more (due to illness etc)- it's not like my pain is ANY better... sometimes worse!
