storing sterilised bottles

is it possible to store away sterilised bottles? I sometimes find my LO wanting more than I put in her bottles but sterilizing a bottle and making up a tiny feed takes so long especially when she's hungry. I got some smaller bottles and was wondering if I can put them away after being sterilised?

Yes once bottles are strilised, put them together, do them up tightly with the lids on and they will stay sterile for 24 hours. xxx

I used a cold water steriliser (a tub of water with Miltons in it) and just take out a bottle when i needed it. When they werent being used they got washed and stuck in the water.
