It's shocking how quickly he went downhill and from being allergic to Ibuprofen after taking the kiddies neurofen medicine!

I know!.... It makes you think twice about giving lo ne medicines!.... The reaction was much worse than I would have expected!

My littlest one is allergic to every Antibiotic weve tried him with, in fact i he had a bad reaction that somehow brought on a sepsis rash... but jesus, 65?% of his skin... that is terrifying. Poor boy.

Yes We thought we had found some he could have a couple of weeks ago but he had a reaction to that too. Seems to be so many allergies around now.

Wishing you luck on that. As an adult, I am still discovering antibiotics that I'm allergic to. It's definitely a difficult set of allergies to work through.

My sister became allergic to Ibuprofen when she was an adult. She'd had it previously throughout her life with no effects.

One day she was at work with a headache, took some & had a major reaction. Luckily, she's a nurse so was in the right place for help, she was 27/28 at the time.

Poor lad.

I'm severely allergic to ibuprofen and carry an epipen. My allergy was discovered when I took ibuprofen for the pain from getting my train tracks fitted at 11 or 12. It's an anifalxis (sp?) and the docs were taking pics of me as they'd never seen anything like it. It took it happening three tines before we worked out what it was!! Very scary xx
