i woke up this morning with double the stretchmarks i had yesterday. they only started appearing last week. above my belly button, and now i have the same amount below my belly button. the ones above are getting longer and thicker day by day and are purply/red. if they have got this bad in a week, what is my stomach going to be like in 3 or more weeks!?

i feel so down today cos of it! :'(

i should be thankful that they aren't all over the place. but they are really getting me down!

i REALLY hope he comes early, the earlier he comes, the less my stomach will stretch!

sorry for the rant, it's just making me feel down. i need cheering up!

xx

I really know how you feel. I've had stretchies from the word go. However, even without putting creams and such on them I have noticed that the ones in the middle of my stomach that were really violently red have faded to a light pink colour, so there is hope :D

Don't get down about it. Theres creams and lotions and potions out there for once your little man is here.

:hugs: aww i know what you mean i have them on my belly button too. I at least you have 3weeks left i have like 7 weeks left! I tell myself that @ the end when lo is born its going to be worth it but i just want them gone NOW!

I have them on my lower belly too :( Tbh ur bump probs wont grow much more now ur nrli 37w..My bump still measured 37w at my 40w appointment 2 days ago.. so I think they stop growing! Mine have already gone lighter too.. Cocoa butter is the trick :) U been putting it on? xx

Aww :hugs: You should try coconut butter oil I use that and it works really well!

:hugs: I have stretchmarks from dieting and rapid weight gain already and I've had some really nasty ones over the few years. They do all fade eventually, and I did find bio oil really good for speeding them up (I'm rubbing it in everyday from now to hope it helps with the baby stretching).

Only advise is not to worry and drink plenty of water, since the skins poor hydration is the main reason you get stretch marks (or worse ones).

It'll be ok, when your buba is in your arms it'll be the last thing on your mind :flower:

:hugs: Ive given up on my stomach... just hoping they will fade well once iv had LO

xx

Palmers coco butter stretch mark cream works like a charm :D

I've been using this while pregnant and aim to use that, bio oil and palmers firming lotion after baby is here :D

I just started getting them on the bottom of my belly. I thought I was going to be good and then I got into 34 weeks and it was like a explosion of stripes lol

*big hugs* :hugs: So sorry hunny! I understand, my hips look like they've been attacked by a vicious kitten. lol. It's like 8 inches of my hip just covered in stretchmarks, it's awful!! Don't worry though, the bright red stretchies really do fade! I got my first really bad one (real bad, it even bled) at 14 weeks and it's just kinda light pink now. My belly button area is starting to show signs of stretchies now too. Just lather up in loads of lotion, don't scratch and drink lots of water. Just know that it will get better with time!

i know how you feel:(
Its making me feel down..i thought i escaped them but now i got three :( red ones at that!
One is on my hip and 2 on my belly but its like where the skin is stretching where i had my belly button pierced before..x
