I am struggling to feed my dd. Shes 10 weeks old, so far we had battled trapped wind, got past the bit where she took an hour to take a bottle cause she fell asleep, so i thought we had moved forward. Well recently feels like we have gone backwards. Shes back to falling asleep during a bottle, we are using vari flow teats, so cant be cause shes getting tired from sucking, looks like her trapped wind is back occasionally too. She sometimes screams during a feed and arches her back occasionally. I am getting stressed when she takes an hour to feed, i feet like i have become obsessed with the abount of milk that she has and when she has a bottle, i get agitated if it looks like shes going over her feed time. She feeds every 3 hours 6oz. Thank you for reading, all advice very much appreciated.

Have you thought of changing to comfort milk?
Sophie went through a phase of colic and really bad trapped wind, and I changed her to comfort milk - easier to digest - best thing I ever did!!

shes maybe not managing the variflow teats, i would try a size 2 :)

I did think about changing her milk to comfort milk, but she doesnt suffer with colic or constipation. I have thought about changing her teats again, this is why i changed them to start with, but went with vari flow cause she was only 2 weeks old, size 2 is from 3 months, so i thought that be too much for her. Im wondering if size 2 will help a little.

Comfort milk can help with the trapped wind too, we swapped onto it as LO did what your little one did, could she have a touch of silent reflux? The back arching and bottle fighting can be a sign of that too x

Yeah that was the other reason i thought about the comfort milk to see if it would help with that too, even though she doesnt have colic. As with the silent reflux i had not heard of it till a couple of week ago, so dont know what it is, or anything about it. I might try changing her milk if i dont have any change soon.
