Hi everyone, just looking for some advice or just someone who can relate. My partner and I have been trying for 18 months, after 3 early losses we finally persuaded our doctor to send us to the specialist. They suspect a large adenomyoma after various scans and tests. We are waiting for several blood test results including genetic tests to check if there are any 'compatability' issues with me and my OH and waiting for an appointment for investigative surgery to confirm the size and placement of the adenomyoma. Their advice was to keep trying if we can and feel ready to try again and I have been prescribed a high dose of folic acid. We have been told to use cyclogest from the day we get a positive test and that we will have fortnightly scans from 6 weeks to help us through the first few weeks. I'm just feeling confused and a bit down about it all now and trying not to get my hopes up :(

I didn't want to read and run but I don't have much advice for you. But wanted to say I'm so sorry for your losses. I really hope you get some advice and your able to get your rainbow baby. :hugs:

Sorry for your losses. I'm glad you're seeing a fertility specialist now, and it sounds like they are going to give you the support you need. Warm wishes to you and your DH. Hope those tests come back all good and that you'll have a good game plan soon. :dust:

I am sorry for your losses and I truly wish you the best of luck. I know it can be hard but you will get through this.

Thanks everyone the bloods came back last week and all were good so we are both staying positive but still don't want to get too excited or start planning. We have an appointment with the specialist in 2 weeks so should know more then ☺ my family don't know what to say really and friends don't say anything at all and really wanted to hear from people who could relate. Will keep updated and keep smiling

HI Keep Smiling

I did't want to read and run either. I'm sorry for your losses. I can't relate to the problems you have that may be causing your miscarriages but I can relate to TTC for 18 months and losses. I just want to pass on some hugs and I'm hoping that the fertility specialist can help you with your pregnancy. x x x
