stubborn nappy stains - what are my options?

Poor babs has been teething the last few weeks and alng with terrible nappy rash his poo has been really dark in colour.

We haven't a problem with stains before but we do now (including his brand new ittis)

what can I do to restore them to their former glory? Is the sun my only option?

I had a dark poop stain in a borrowed nappy recently (typically)
What got it out was some stain remover from stain devils (the one for baby food stains etc), wash it and hang to dry then i sunned it and it came out brilliantly

Ive heard alot of good things about vanish bars - i just havent found anywhere that sells one yet.

Vanish Bar (or the wind up stick, same thing) and some sunshine...always works.
