Hi everyone, I wanted to ask your opinion on my posting here. I was ltttc our lg and eventually clomid worked. I still feel drawn to these boards and feel I can offer advice. When I was ttc I appreciated help from those who had been successful but found pictures in their signature difficult.

Do you think it is ok to post here or is it inappropriate for people due to my ticker etc... You can just say yes/no without explaining.

I think thats absolutely fine hun, lots of women are still posting here xx oh Congrats too!!

I suppose if you have a relevant opinion on something that has been posted that could really help somebody that would be ok.

I'm not so sure about having a separate thread in this part of the forum though. There's the Success Stories section for that.

I was ltttc for 3 years and ntnp (no contraceptives at all) 3 years before that. (I was secretly trying to get pregnant, but OH wasn't ready for kids while ntnp, but was if it happens, it happens)..

I tried every ttc trick in the book, remedies, change of diet, bd positions, legs up on the wall, I bought fertility jewellery, fertility teas, vitamins, lots of opks, temping, gave up my drinkies, smoking, I got to "really" know my body.

I deactivated my Fb, because of all the bfp announcements, I distant myself from my bff because she was pregnant, I didn't even go to her baby shower.
I hated TV ads with babies or pregnant women, I hated going to get sanitaries from the grocers because it was in the same isle as the baby diapers, food, bottles etc.. I wanted to slap every pregnant woman for complaining lol.

I successfully got a bfp after 3 rounds of clomid.

I still pop in to see how the girls are going and praying for all ladies to have rainbow babies, but I don't post.

Xxxx

I still post from time to time when I have some info that I think may be useful or just to bump up a question that doesn't have many replies. OP, you can hide your ticker when posting by unclicking the "show your signature" box below your post.

As a lttc'er, I agree with what she said ^^^ thank you for asking :)

I really, really appreciate it when people hide their baby tickers when they are posting in the TTC or LTTTC forums.

It makes me simultaneously upset AND feel like a jerk for being upset when I am faced with 'Baby is as big as a pumpkin!' posts in a sensitive LTTTC topic. Hiding your signature makes me much more comfortable - its just the sensitive thing to do I think.

Otherwise, post away!

Thanks for the replies, I had no idea I could hide my ticker on individual posts. I'll try it now. I'd like to think I could help, especially clomid questions but will only do so if u think it will actually be useful.

I know I like it when people have answers - in TTC there are always a TON of questions!
