Just found out I had an inverted T uterine incision with my EMCS. It was a very traumatic birth involving a transfusion and whatnot. I was told absolutely I must always have c-sections from now on.

So I was settled on ELCS for this one. Until people started telling me about successful VBACs after inverted T incisions. I don't want to end up with another EMCS. The thought really scares me. But I'm intrigued.

Do you think a VBAC is possible after 5 years? Is that more than enough time for the scar to have healed sufficiently for something like that? At the very least, can I not worry about rupture should I accidentally go into labor before C-Section day?

personally i wouldnt risk it due to the fact the area in which the scar is is bigger than a normal one. if you really want to try maybe request to have a scan done to see how thick/thin the scar is and go from there.

No, I actually have no interest in trying to go through full labor. I've just been so scared for so long of going into labor before my surgery is scheduled. I was wondering if maybe I didn't have to worry so much about rupturing before I can make it to the hospital.

I absolutely wouldn't try to do the whole thing with this scar. I'm scared enough of the planned c-section. Don't want to end up with another EMCS.
