I am seeing a new Consultant in Gynaecology this afternoon at a new hospital. Has anyone got any suggestions for questions I should ask?

A little history (sorry it's a little long):

Began TTC in February 2006.
Blood tests January 2007 and referred to consultant.
SA February 2007; results within normal range.
Saw consultant in October 2007, PCOS diagnosed, Metformin prescribed.
More bloods and HSG January 2008; tubes clear and normal uterine cavity.
Saw consultant February 2008, blood results normal, Clomid prescribed.
SA March 2008; results within normal range.
Even more bloods April 2008.
Saw consultant December 2008, blood results confirm ovulation whilst on Clomid.
Discharged at this point due to OH's child, self-funded IUI recommended.
IUI booked for March 2009, cancelled and rebooked for June.
IUI cancelled due to first pregnancy.
MMC confirmed at 12wk scan July 2009.
Dr who confirmed MMC suggested new referral to local hospital (we'd moved area, but not out of PCT, so funding problems the same).
Same Dr also suggests that I am experiencing LUF cycles.

What do you think I should ask?

Please feel free to suggest anything, no matter how obvious sounding. I nearly always kick myself after these appointments as I've forgotten to say something.

Thanks in advance,x

Oh no really want to help and my mind is blank!
I would ask them to focus on you who doesn't have a child if they start spouting about DF!
Go in a see what they say first and then you know how much to say or sometimes nthings not to mention! At mine I was like "if they say ... I'll say .... and if they say ... i'll say" etc etc but because I listened and let the doc talk herslef into what she was going to do I hardly had to say anything. I did as her to clarify some things so that they were clear and in case I had misheard. I went over which bloods exactly they were doing trying to remember on here what everyone else has had.

Sorry I can't be more help hun! Good luck! :hugs:

I am exactly the same way and have already started my list of questions for my first RE appointment later this month. Because our questions are particular to our situation, I don't know if mine would apply to you cause mine are about unexplained infertility. But in general, I think writing down our questions is a really good idea. It's always disappointing to leave an appointment and still have questions.

I wish I had some help... but goodluck :hugs2:

I think this was the most helpful thing that I ever posted on here. Also possibly the most stressful. Only for me though (obviously).

To clarify the journey so far has been depressing but good. I hope to God that it has a happy ending eventually.
